Equestrian Madlibs

Okay, this is a blatant theft of an idea -- Hillbilly Farms did a cool hunter/jumper madlib on their site (under Features), so here is my dressage spin on their idea, using Javascript for some interactivity. Of course the Hillbilly folks stole the madlib concept from some clever 70's era soul who's probably retired in the Florida keys somewhere. I suppose we'll both be dragged into court. Here goes!

If you have ideas, or craft a madlib of your own, share it via comments or email me and I'll (try to) put it into the Javascript format for others to enjoy. Of course you'll be credited!

  1. This was hilarious!! Thank you so much. My clinic experience was unforgettable, but Brad Pitt will never forgive me for putting him on the B-list!! (Couldn't think of actor names...)

  2. I've only done the first one, but must admit I chuckled. A buffet of apples and aloe vera....yum!

  5. Hehehehehe, here is mine:

    A Dressage Clinic to Remember

Last week I took my Polish warmblood Amazing Happiness to a clinic with a new trainer on the dressage scene, Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes. He gave my horse a 7 on his brave movement. I fell off during a half-pass that everyone said was funny. He told me we resembled a(n) elephant riding a cat and he suggested a operation to improve my riding. Everyone admired my blue paisley top hat. Afterward we enjoyed a crazy buffet of pancakes and smoothies. It was great! And to think this clinic only cost 15 dollars and a handful of lolipops!

  7. Fermented Acres: An Elite Barn

I moved my horse to the elite barn Fermented Acres when I found out JK Rowling boards there. The stalls have baby’s butt bedding and Vadka flows from the automatic waterers. Each stall has a blender and a TV but most horses play Twister in their leisure time. Boarders work 67 hours/week to pay board, and if it’s late, they whack you on the foot. I recently pawned my leather purse to pay my bill. It’s all so stunning.

  9. A Dressage Clinic to Remember
Last week I took my Hungarian warmblood Fluffy Chicken to a clinic with a new trainer on the dressage scene, Rob Thomas. He gave my horse a 6 on his Noodly movement. I fell off during a Extended Trot that everyone said was Sticky. He told me we resembled a(n) Bison riding a midge and he suggested a bandage to improve my riding. Everyone admired my periwinkle paisley riding pants. Afterward we enjoyed a lumpy buffet of tofu and beer. It was great! And to think this clinic only cost 68 dollars and a handful of gobstoppers!

  10. My paisley Western clothes were a hit, while I rode Boldly Mary with Tom Cruise. With bread and lemonade to boot! As you can tell I've joined late and am going back a ways here. 2008 HILARIOUS!
