This is a 11-year old Paint Gelding with the sweetest disposition you could ever imagine. Skippy is currently training 3rd level and is ready to show 2nd level. His forwardness and willingness to please his rider make him a joy to ride and train. He is suitable for an armature or beginner, loads and clips without any problems. He is super safe on the trails hacks and has no vices.
Oh, don't tempt me! We're talking about leasing sometime this winter or early spring if eldest keeps on track with her riding progress. . . .
ReplyDeleteI think you're missing a 't' in your title.
ReplyDeleteCute. I have a friend looking, but I think Florida is too far.
ReplyDeleteSkipper W! Knew it! It's something in the way the neck sits, and that walk. Nicely done. :)
ReplyDeleteFinally a sales video done right. That is a lovely horse. She did transitions and showed what the horse can do, especially transitions. If there's one thing that bugs me in a sales video, it's 5 minutes of trot work. Thanks for sharing. It's always fun to look at nice horses for sale.
ReplyDeleteAnd hugs to Riley from Texas!
Speaking of non-traditional dressage horse breeds - have you heard of Harry Callahan?
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine has a student who is looking for a horse, and they just missed this cute little guy by ONE DAY! LOL I hope the people who bought him enjoy him...he looks delightful. I also have a post about "other breeds" in dressage on my blog. :-)
ReplyDeleteI especially like the "other" breeds for students who are just starting out in dressage, or who are interested more in the "journey" than competition, because they tend not to be so intimidating in their movement, and the temperaments are generally wonderful.
“No life without riding the horse”
