What it's all about? A reminder
This is a picture of Christa, the young woman that backed Riley. It was taken years ago, and she's riding an OTTB that she trained herself. When I was putting together the farm web site I am working on (shared with you a week or so ago), I ran across the photo. Never mind that I happen to know her, and it's a great photo (taken by Mandy Danish)--it struck a chord with me for another reason. It's a message.

I'm so jealous - I would love to be on such a beautiful horse on such an incredible day. Wow - you live a very blessed life. I'm truly jealous...want to trade? I have three so-called "human" beasts I live with. lol

ReplyDeleteI have a couple of pictures from eldest's lesson yesterday and some of them show that same joy, even as she's concentrating intently. There's nothing like the feeling of being in the saddle, I remember!
