This is actually a legit barn in Ontario. But those people are crazy; they market themselves like a bunch of baboons, and the Tammy person is especially bitchy.
Kind of weird if you ask me; a little flaky, a little mean and a bit too good to be true. I'm afraid I've seen waaaay too much happen in the horse world to accept anything at face value. Just call me Cindy Cynical :o)
I watched a little bit of it and I was kind of disgusted with how it portrays the horse world. Sure, all us horse women are crazy to some extent, but not all horse people are catty and bitchy.
There are some good parts, though. It's interesting in one way or another.
Hmm. Thanks for the thread link "perpetual novice". Sounds like a show concept I'd love but... after reading that thread and knowing my critical nature... I think I'd better not watch!

Correct Connect helps you develop better contact with your horse. The reins/gloves were developed by Olympic eventer Jill Hennenberg and endorsed by recognized trainers. Read about them!

ReplyDeleteThe show has caused considerable consterntation in Canada. Many are appalled at how the horse scene is portrayed by the program.
ReplyDeleteBut being Canadian, we are treating it the best way we know how and for the most part it has been met with humour.
