Our first
blue roan 3/4 Friesian! We have been planning and hoping for this
perfect filly for such a long time, and she is finally here! From
the time we decided that Sapphire was just too nice to part with, we
have planned to breed her to a nice purebred Friesian and hope for a
blue roan 3/4 Friesian. I

Dam: Red Roan Clydesdale
That is one beauuuutiful horse! I want!!!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I'm not usually a Friesian person but she is really lovely! I joke here that "roan children will take over the world" as we are so enjoying the progeny of our Criollo stallion who is homozygous roan.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beautiful horse!
ReplyDeleteI agree, she is beautiful. Fresian with a Clyde is a strange cross, but it worked out very nicely. The color seems like icing on the cake. =)
ReplyDeleteI love Friesians. She's a cutie but I still prefer black, even over blue roan lol. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletePretty girl, but from the description, it doesn't sound as if they'd part with her...Santa is going to have to look elsewhere for your stocking stuffer. *G*
ReplyDeleteInteresting cross, though. She is going to be a big girl when she grows up.
So beautiful & regal! I hope you get everything you want for Christmas!
