With my new HD Flip camera (gift from a friend, thanks and you-know-who-you-are), I captured this footage of Riley and Harv one hot afternoon after a hard summer shower -- can't you just feel the sweat dripping down your neck? Such good boys, enjoying the late summer grass.

Hey Stacey: Have you posted what you feed Harv? I have a 28 yr. old that looks almost that wonderful. He is on Purina Sr. with some supplements. Just wonder how you are getting that wonderful layer of fat on him? :)
ReplyDeleteQuick question! Have you ever used a calming supplement on any of your horses? I'm thinking of trying one for my over-aggressive mare.. er, she's over-aggressive to everyone BUT me. I personally think aggression is unacceptable in any form, but I have no idea weather or not a calming supplement would fix the problem.. would you have any idea?
ReplyDeleteSo humid the rain is dripping off my nose. I guess the atmosphere can only hold so much water before it has to turn into a thunderstorm....
ReplyDeleteThe other morning it was so tropical out I could hardly breathe.
Like to see your Boys out enjoying the grass and not too bothered by flies. Quite a contented picture.
They look beautiful - perfect weight and healthy coats. Harv was thinking of coming over to talk but couldn't tear himself away from the luxurious grass.
ReplyDeleteWatching horses graze is one of the best forms of therapy out there! thanks for sharing- and I love hearing the crickets raise their symphony! Corinna
ReplyDeleteHarv looks awesome! Nice video of your boys.
ReplyDeleteHarvey looked like he was trying to figure out which was his best side for the camera (then said forget this, I'm here for the grass *laugh*).
ReplyDeleteHave fun playing with your new toy!
