At home with Carl Hester

Since that ride on Uthopia a few weeks ago, Carl Hester seems to be THE MAN! Here is a nice video on his "yard" (as they say in the UK) -- pretty good digs, yes? I also love the outdoor feel, but especially how the cats and dogs are part of every shot. And of course, the dutch doors.

    If you have a chance to watch his masterclass, I recommend it.
    People from both extremes of dressage training want to hold him up as "look, Carl represents ME!" but in reality, his training is pretty simple - enhance the horse, and pay attention to the horse. Change positions, try to keep the neck long and the horse forward, but if there is some behind the vertical it's not the end of the world.
    Everything in moderation, and he embodies that.
