I was thinking that if you could bring your hip a little more forward and pull yourself up more if that would help Riley keep that canter.
You don't want to think of sitting "back and down" with your seat, but rather "forward and down." My favorite trainer used to say, "Hip towards your hand."
Again, you both look lovely in this photo, Riley, in particular. He has such good expression!
I am also working on teaching my horse dressage! Love your horse - he looks very submissive and relaxed. The muscles along his topline are what I dream someday Bella's will be. Come check out my blog - www.diamondsleap.blogspot.com
Hi Guys, Your comments are valued and appreciated -- until recently I never rejected a post. Please note that I reserve the right to reject an anonymous post.
Correct Connect helps you develop better contact with your horse. The reins/gloves were developed by Olympic eventer Jill Hennenberg and endorsed by recognized trainers. Read about them!
Much better with your core.
