Why do I always get choked up when I watch something like this?!?
ReplyDeleteHe loves his job, he loves and TRUSTS her, and the two of them are having the time of their lives. Just doesn't get any better than that!
ReplyDeleteThat pony is only small in size. What an awesome pair to watch!
ReplyDeleteThe Henny videos do this to me, and I also teared up at this one. His eye is so calm, and he never hesitates. He looks for all the world like he'd be out there going around the course with or without the rider...
ReplyDeletewhat a pair! They are both so brave!
ReplyDeleteHad the pleasure of watching them in person at Jersey Fresh two years ago. Inspirational pair.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing enough when the big Thoroughbred types jump those courses and make the time. To see this guy go is doubly amazing. What a wonderful pair!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable pony. Such a good soul too. :)

Severe thunderstorm warning. Pull up. Pull up!!
ReplyDeleteHeh heh. Anyway, I disagree that he is all heart. I think there is some good breeding in there too. ;)
Connemaras are amazing jumpers if bred well. I think they just about top some TBs, IMHO. Ever been to Ireland hunt country? You don't want to drop knees on those rock walls!!!
Reminds me of the little movie that came out with the Breyer horse back in 1998 about Erin Go Bragh.
ReplyDeleteThat brought tears to my eyes too... what a wonderful team they are! Thanks for posting this. :)
ReplyDeleteThere is a 25 year old Connemara pony who hunts with our club. You'd never know she was a senior citizen -- lots of heart and a good jump in her still!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Gotta love ponies :-)
