Saddle fit: Spot the problem!

Okay -- I'm turning into a saddle junkie. I can't stop looking at saddles. Can't. Stop. Someone, stop me before I buy again! The plus side is that I'm learning a lot about saddle fit and can offer some sound advice to newbies. Here is installment 1 -- what do you think of this saddle on this, er, horse?

 The saddle has ridden up on the wither? 

No.


The saddle is too wide?

No.

The saddle is too long for the horse's back?

No.

The problem is, it outweighs the pony!

Did I share this before? This ADORABLE saddle ad is on warmbloods-for-sale.com -- someone is very smart about sales ads -- gets your attention doesn't it?

    I see the problem.

    You should always use brown tack on a palomino or a chestnut. Heathens!

    all though the saddle doesnt fit this is soo totally cute! would deffo catch my eye <3

    The main issue here is the pony is gonna trip on the billets. Ha.
