COTH Art contest: An observation

I always enjoy these contests. In this contest, predictably, lots more girls than boys in the final results. It's not hard to see the gender differences in choice of subject.

    Love the horse on the rocket ship thing. There must be a great story that goes along with that picture.

    I am always fascinated by young imaginations, especially what shows up in children's art. Their world is a special place most of us seem to grow away from as we get older. Too bad.

    Hoping all those kids get their own real live horse one day - if they don't have one already. I was one of those little girls who constantly dreamed and drew pictures of horses - even gave them names. Took me until I was 40 :)
