Well, if there's going to be a horse that allows this at a young age I'd guess it would be in the "R" bloodlines, and Rhodiamant especially. I hear nothing but praise for that stallion and his offspring.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoy and also learn from your blog. I don't get around very much in the show horse world and thus don't know the big names, until you have a post on them.
ReplyDeleteThat's a first--I've seen people flapping umbrellas out of camera shot to get the horse to perk its ears, but not riding with an open umbrella like that. ;o)
ReplyDeleteThe Hannoveraner Verband pushes a couple initiatives to better market and sell the breed. One in the past was the FRH for Sporthorses this one is called "Hannoveraner erleben"("Experience Hanoverians"). The goal is to sell to AA riders who want a sane horse for pleasure riding. There even is an Auction just for that type of horse once a year ("Sales Week for Leisure Horses").
