  1. That rider must be petite or that is a very big mule. Lovely, though. And very happy in his work.

  2. What I love is the progress these two have made - clearly there is some correct work going on there for the improvement, and you have to cheer for them!

    Thanks for sharing!

  3. Not a bad moving mule. I do find the tail movement a bit distracting...and the ear bobbing, but he can't help that.

  4. Oh, JH, I love the ear-bobbing! And I don't think the tail movement is anything other than a sign of effort. This is a mule I want to meet SO BAD!

  5. OMG, he is just terrific! I watched the entire thing and was captivated. Talk about obedient, supple and light in the bridle! SO darn cute. The swishy tail IS a bit distracting but obviously it didn't bother the judges, if he was placed first. Love the ears! What a good boy.

I would find it hard to ride him myself, as he sure is broad. Guess his momma is used to that. My thighs would be cooked!

  6. OMG ... random thought ... can you imagine saddle fitting a mule? I'm wondering if they do customs just for them. This guy is super cute!!!
