And cannnter!

Some canter work here.. Sluggish but he hangs onto it fairly well. Sometime I'll show you the left lead...

    You see sluggish - I see a young horse who is starting to bend those hocks and step up under himself with a lot of separation between the hind legs. That tends to get more awkward and sluggish-seeming as they build the strength to carry themselves there, but it looks like progress to me!

    Also, the trot prior to the canter had a lovely swing to it!

    Very nice, Stacey, with some "jump" now and then. He is not as steady in the bridle but again, you're just getting back to work and it takes time to put it all together (again ;o)
