This North Carolina-based upper level rider, and mom, and wife, fell from her horse and a sustained traumatic brain injury. She was riding at home and wearing a helmet. Stories like this are very affecting, and if you wish to give toward her medical bills, there is a page set up. It's very easy, and it's a worthy cause.
