Leave it to Eventing Nation to find the cool non-traditional horses. They have an article about a CurlyxHolsteiner stallion, Spartagon, competing in eventing, but he looks totally dressagey to me! Note that the rider is 6'4" and the horse is 17H, unusual for a curly-bred horse. This pair completed their first Intermediate at River Glen in November 2014.
